Pernah tak terfikir... sekolah korang, matriks korang, uni korang, secara tiba-tiba didatangi seseorang yang tak dikenali. Dia tak buat apa-apa, cuma mengetuk-ngetuk pintu pagar utama, nak masuk. Muka dia pucat... mata dia kemerh-merahan seperti nak tersembul keluar...
Pastu cikgu/lecturer/pak guard anda datang nak halau dia, ataupun paling kurang, nak tanya kenapa. Dia secara tiba-tiba menggigit anggota badan cikgu/lecturer/pak guard tempat anda.
Cikgu/lecturer/pak guard tempat anda kemudiannya mati... Selepas beberapa ketika, dia bangun semula, dan bertukar menjadi sama seperti orang yang datang tadi!
That was what going on in High School of the Dead... Just imagine, you woke up that morning, full of spirit to study, it was calm and peace, the sun shines brightly, welcoming your day, cool morning breeze...
In just a split second after that incident, things drastically changed... The school was in chaos, students tried to run out of the school, thinking none, but to save themselves...
One by one, got bitten and changed to that thing. It's pandemic. It spread.
Imagine... to save ones life, you need to sacrifice others. To save your life, you might... no... you even have to kill your once best friend... The one that share the joy and pain together... You will see betrayal... You will see hatred... You will see agony... And you might even see love...
Imagine... You may have survived the wave inside your school... But yet, the whole city, the whole town you passed by was nothing but a bloody destruction... Blood, houses and shops with broken doors and windows... Everything has changed...
Don't you remember how peaceful it was this morning? In just a few minutes incident, the world has changed... Everything has changed... When you should be enjoying nice hot bath, delicious meal after class... or should be watching your favorite television show... you are now running for the sake of your life...
How will you face it? How will you face the drastic change? In just one day?
p.s: I'm super psyched with this anime!! ^_^ I don't wanna mention bout something else. Enough say, there's a lesson within it...
